Transforming Cable Protection with nanoFIBER™ Armored Innovation
Point 2 Point Communications (P2P) was founded by Roman Krawczyk, a veteran Electrical Engineer with over 35 years of experience in fiber optic systems and infrastructure development. In 2007, while working on a deployment in NYC, Roman encountered a problem that most had overlooked—rats in The Bronx were chewing through fiber and CAT5 cables, threatening critical communications.
What followed was more than a fix. It was a breakthrough. Roman invented a stainless-steel coiled armor system to protect cables from vermin, damage, and harsh environments—laying the foundation for what is now the nanoFIBER™ armored cable. Smaller and more flexible than traditional armored solutions, yet virtually indestructible, nanoFIBER™ changed the standard for cable durability.
By 2015, after years of refinement and real-world testing, P2P secured a U.S. patent for its stainless-steel coil protection system—paving the way for a new era of high-performance cabling used across broadband, data centers, smart cities, broadcast, and military-grade infrastructure.
At P2P, nanoFIBER™ isn’t just a product—it’s a purpose-built innovation that started on the streets of NYC and now powers the world’s most demanding environments.

In 2007, P2P faced a real-world infrastructure challenge in NYC: rats were chewing through fiber and CAT5 cables, causing critical disruptions. This unusual but serious issue exposed a major weakness in traditional cabling solutions.

Inventing the Solution
Roman Krawczyk, P2P’s founder, engineered a revolutionary stainless-steel armored coil system. Designed for flexibility and toughness, this innovation laid the foundation for what would become nanoFIBER™—a game-changing armored cable.

After years of testing and refinement, nanoFIBER™ was patented in 2015. Smaller and lighter than traditional armored cables, yet virtually indestructible, it’s now trusted in broadband, data centers, and smart cities worldwide.

Unlike traditional armored cables, nanoFIBER™ is easier to install, 75% lighter, and 65% smaller—making it the ideal solution for modern infrastructure.
✅ Withstands rodents, crushing, weather, kinks, and poor installations
✅ nanoFIBER™ coil prevents bend radius from being exceeded
✅ Superior tensile and lateral strength
✅ Requires fewer protective conduits
✅ Reduces HDPE pipe size
↠ Reduces labor costs and deployment time
↠ No conduit needed in most cases
↠ Works in tight spaces with better bend radius
↠ End-to-end solutions for both indoor and outdoor environments
↠ Fewer technicians needed due to simplified handling

We offer end-to-end fiber solutions including nanoFIBER™ armored patch cords, hybrid power cables, custom assemblies, and complete fiber infrastructure systems tailored for broadband, data centers, smart cities, and more.
nanoFIBER™ is our proprietary stainless-steel armored fiber solution, designed to be lighter, smaller, and more flexible than aluminum interlocking armor. It provides superior protection, bend radius, and is ideal for high-performance and high-risk environments.
